"Understanding the inventory of the company is essential
to understanding the business of the company."
Our Services
Our services include Inventory Appraisals, Verification and Monitoring of Inventories and both Orderly and Distressed Liquidations. Our services help define risk before a credit line is approved; establish advance rates to control risk where changes in the Company are noted by the line officer; and limit risk when an exit situation arises or where fraud is suspected.
INVENTORY APPRAISALS
These are the core deliverables that we provide in our appraisals. We interview management, research the industry, analyze the inventory (utilizing proprietary software that we have developed) and based upon our experience, discuss the following in our reports:
- Inventory Imbalance And Obsolescence
- Verification Of The Inventory Value As A Percentage Of Cost Or Market
- Assess How Well The Principals Manage The Inventory
- Summarize The Availability Of Information To The Lender
- Detailed Exit Plan With Associated Costs
- Provide Recommended Ongoing Reporting Requirements
- Present A Variety Of Liquidation Scenarios.
INVENTORY VERIFICATION AND COLLATERAL MONITORING
Inventory is difficult to control as collateral. We custom design approaches that help our customers maintain a loan-to-collateral ratio.
INVENTORY LIQUIDATIONS
An inventory's collateral value is a function of its liquidation value since collecting proceeds during liquidation, although the worst case, is the time when collateral really matters. We assess both the difficulty of liquidating a given inventory and the dependence of that inventory value on the company as a going concern.
Orderly Liquidations: We manage orderly liquidations as well as purchase inventory when the opportunity permits.
Distressed and Forced Liquidations: We provide our customers with among the best in distressed liquidation values through our strategic alliances with major auction houses.
